Club moves into a new Digital era

October 24th 2006 saw the club move into a new era,the first night with our brand new digital projection equipment.

Thanks in no small part to a grant from Derbyshire County Council the club has now been able to purchase the required equipment far sooner than anyone could have hoped,fund raising having been underway for a while.

Thirty members and guests were able to enjoy an evening of photography tutorials and work provided by a number of club members.All were in full agreement that more of the same will be welcome.

Future evenings will follow throughout the season so please watch this space for any details.

The committee would also like to pass on its thanks to Stephen Walters,our competition and exhibition secretary,for all his hard work in arranging the necessary administration required in obtaining the grant and the subsequent purchase of the equipment.
